If you update a record in CardExchange producer and the change does not pull through to the record, or if you cannot create new records, then the issue may be with the XLS file you are using as your database.
Firstly, close down any instances of CE Producer you may have open.
Open the XLS file and manually add a test record, then save this and go back to Producer, try and add or update a record. It should work now, as expected.
Once the issue is resolved, you can safely delete the test record you created.
The cause of this is unknown, but it only seems to occur with XLS databases.
