1. Log on to the Windows PC as an administrator and go to registry edit.
2. Browse to registry entry: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\ScPnP
3. Double click on the EnableScPnP entry and change the value to 0 (if needed).
4. Click OK to save and restart your PC to enact the changes.
