Salto fobs  current stock of have 7 Byte UID fobs.

Old stock have a  4 byte UID whuic are Light Blue Salto fobs which are no longer in general circulation or available from Salto.

Usually any issues with fob readability relate to this switch in fob and the resolution is to speak to your access control provider and ask them to apply a firmware updates to the Salto System , Enrolment reader and Door entry readers.

From that point on the current stock of Salto 7 byte fobs should work on all readers.

For your information there are two types of Door Handles on the Salto systems that use the fobs/cards.

Fix handles that do not push down are old "Comfort" Model and are not upgradable to use with 7 Byte UID fobs.

Handles that push down are the "Access 4" Type and these can be upgraded.

All Readers, door access panels , and anything that reads card or fob in your system needs to be upgraded.

latest version of Salto System needs to be installed as a matter of course

Readers need to be updated with PDB by Access control provider.
