To test the HID Omnikey 5427 CK please do the following…
1 . Make sure the reader’s drivers are installed (these can be found at https://www.hidglobal.com/drivers ) and the device shows up in Device Manager as an Omnikey 5127CK like below.

2. Now access Omnikey 5427CK web interface, just enter in URL in your web browser: http://192.168.63.99 (this URL may need to be allowed though a security firewall)
3. If you are able to access the web interface and you can also place a card on the reader and it the light change on the reader it should be working.
You can also download the Omnikey workbench tool which will also show you if the reader is connected however you still need to install the above drivers.
