Omnikey 5427 CK Factory reset

Might it have been possible that when USB was changed on Host Interfaces tab, that the Enable EEM box was unticked?

Option 1 -The EEM interface of the OMNIKEY 5427CK can be enabled and disabled through the configuration options.

The disabling can be done through the Web-Interface.

Once the EEM enable mark is removed, the reader will not provide access to the web configuration page on next start up.

To enable the EEM interface you need to present a configuration card, where the EEM is enabled in the configuration.

The attached configuration file could be used to create such a config card.

I have renamed the file Default_ok5x27_ck.cfg to Default_ok5x27_ck.doc (to allow it through your email firewall). 

So please rename it back to Default_ok5x27_ck.cfg

Option 2 - If, however,  the reader is in CCID mode, there could be also send a configuration message to the MIB in the reader to enable or disable the EEM interface.

APDU to switch Off: FF6800000F0200000D070202010104010001010000

APDU to switch On: FF6800000F0200000D07020201010401000101FF00

After each switching attempt  you need to send an APDU to store the configuration.

Please be aware, that if the reader is in KeyBoard Wedge mode and the EEM interface is disabled, the only way to get the reader configured is through configuration cards.
