HID H10302 Format / Issues

Modified on Thu, 5 May, 2022 at 12:29 PM

H10302 is a tracked format so when new cards are created the numbers used come from an ever-increasing database of numbers managed by HID. So the numbers will now be bigger than what may have been on older cards. This is how the format works.
Someone will need to check the settings on the access control panel or software.

Here are the details of the settings required for H10302..

One rule is applicable to all of the cards regardless of the length of the card number.

I have attached the format breakdown of this data format.

Using the convention where the first bit is being referred as bit one;

Bit one is a parity bit.

Bits 2 to 36 represent the card number (in raw binary, MSB)

Bit 37 is a parity bit.

PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

P = Parity bit

A = Card number

Attached is a breakdown of H10302 format in the attached PDF.
