To obtain the Rehost Request file, please follow these steps on the new PC.
1. Use this link to download Instant ID software https://info.entrustdatacard.com/trucredentialevaluation?_ga=2.55550187.1700711376.1623251414-173817868.1617964858
2. Once downloaded, go to this link https://www.entrust.com/resources/software/support/adaptive-issuance-instant-idsupport
3. View the first 7 minutes 55 seconds of the “How to Install, Sign In and License” How To video located in the “How To Videos” section. Follow these steps on the new PC to install and log in to Instant ID
4. Open “License Administrator” by clicking on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the Windows desktop and type in License Administrator
5. Follow these steps to retrieve
a Rehost Request file within the License Administrator application a. Select the product key(s) to rehost
b. Click “Product Key” in the toolbar and select “Request Rehost”
c. If the “Old License Server ID” is not known, please enter the “New License Server ID”
d. Click Export to save the file as a .txt file. Send the file to us Our License team license@entrust.com can then provide an Activation File.
Follow these steps to activate the Product Key on the new PC, once the Activation File is received.
1. Select “Start” -> “All Programs” -> “Datacard” -> “Software Licensing System” -> “License Administrator”
2. Right click on the Product Key and select “Activate Product Key”
3. Browse to the Activation File received from the License team and import it
4. Log in to Instant ID and select “Settings” -> “License” menu
5. Paste the product key into the “License” box provided
6. Deselect the checkbox called “Product key has not been activated”
7. Click “Activate”
