So we can assist with the issue of your Paxton Cards/Fobs for 'Switch 2' or 'Compact'systems please answer the below questions and review the information below.
What happens when they show the cards/fobs to the reader?
Does the reader beep in response or show any reaction?
Has the Switch2 system that is present there already had cards enrolled on them?
I ask these as the system behaves differently depending on if it had a previous set of cards enrolled onto them.
NEW SYSTEM:
For a new system all you would be required to do is present an enrolment card to the reader and the reader will accept the tokens/cards associated with that enrolment card.
(The enrolment card that you use for this reader will now be the original/master card of the reader)
EXISTING (Has already had previous cards added):
If you are adding tokens/cards from a new pack to a reader that is already existing and has already had cards/tokens already enrolled you would need to present the original (master) enrolment card before presenting the enrolment card for the new pack you would like to add.
One more important check would be to get the enrolment card and the 3 problematic fobs.
One at a time shows the enrolment card to the reader, then show 1 of the fobs.
When the 3 LEDs come back on test the fob to see if it works.
If it does repeat with the other 2. If not then Paxton will issue a return.
