Error code 5:2
Reason: It took too many attempts for the printer to find a particular panel of dye film (possibly because the dye sensor needs calibration).
Calibration on the Pronto 100 models;
Open the lid, remove the dye film. Close the lid.
Ensure there is a blank card available to load into the printer.
(either by hand, or, in the top mini card feed tray)
Tap 4 times quickly on the front panel button.
The blank card will be loaded.
Almost immediately, the dye LED brightness will be calibrated.
The complete soak test will take approximately 4½ minutes.
Although if you are in a hurry;
Abort the soak test after around 30 seconds by pressing the button.
The card will remain inside the printer (this is normal).
Open the lid, refit the colour dye film, close the lid.
The blank card will be ejected upon closing the lid (no need to remove it manually).
The printer should now be ready to print normally again.
