Configuration for Temperature Kiosk and Smart Pass Management Dashboard

  • On the PC where the Dashboard is installed the following TCP/IP ports must be open. In our case we have restricted these ports to our internal IP range but as long as they are open the Dashboard and Temp Sensor should be able to  communicate.

  • The temperature sensor by default will request an IP address from the network’s DHCP server. I would advise that this IP is to either be manually fixed or the network administrator to reserve an IP the device using the MAC Address.

-firewall needs to be configured to allow port forwarding on port 465 (could be blocked automatically) 

-They can use port 465 if they are using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 

-However, if they are using TLS (Transport Layer Security) they should use port 587
