- Firstly, open CardPresso, select the first Icon to create a new design:
Additionally in the next window, select the most appropriate card type, for the purposes of this demonstration we will be picking 'CR80'
- Now you will be presented with the card design screen. But before we start adding any elements, we want to create a database. To do so, click 'Database' in the top task bar, then select 'Create' form the drop-down menu:
- Now we can add our barcode. Select the barcode icon from the left hand task bar, and place it on your design in the vague position of where you would like it to be (we can tweak this later)
- Now you will notice, in the right hand side of the screen, we have some options for how to edit the barcode. The first thing to check might be the 'Position' option, so we can fine tune the positioning of the barcode:
- Next, select the 'Barcode' Option to specify the exact type of barcode you would like:
- You may now want to select 'Source' to point the barcode to the correct database field:
- Click 'Concatenate' to add multiple sources
- If you need to add or edit a field, click the icon on the top taskbar that reads 'Database View'
