CardExchange Stuck in Read-Only

This issue is usually caused by the lock file remaining open at all times. 


1. Close CardExchange

2. Open file explorer and navigate here: C:\Users\Public\Documents\CardExchange\Data

3. Locate the lock.xml file within the data folder.

4. Delete this lock.xml file and this will unlock and return the Data folder back to a read/write state.


5. Re-open CardExchange and the software should no longer be in read-only mode.
