To set a static IP address (LAN).
You will need to be connected (temporarily) on USB to be able to configure it.
Once you have it on a USB install and (very importantly) it has ‘Status’,
Go to;
Printer Properties -> Network -> Ethernet;
Tick the ‘Use static network settings’ box, and enter the preferred IP address, subnet mask, default gateway.
Click OK.
Then Apply on the Printer Properties dialog.
The change should be pretty much instant.
Then follow the installation steps for Ethernet.
It won’t work while you are connected via Ethernet (DHCP).
I hope this helps.
