Authentys 300 encoding error when printing from Badgemaker

If you receive an error upon sending a print job to an Authentys 300 via Badgemaker like the one below

This is because Badgemaker is defaulting to a baseline printer implementation because it doesn’t recognize the printer as one of the supported printers due to the printer name reported by the driver. It is expecting a Magicard 300, but is getting Authentys 300. The default implementation does allow printing, but not encoding. 

The solution to this is to simply paste the updated config file (attached) to the Badgemaker root directory:

%APPDATA%\ScreenCheck\BadgeMaker\BadgeMaker.config
