AUTHENTYS PRO RT1 - How to insert the ribbon and film

1. Remove both the ribbon and film cartridges from the printer. 

2. Place the cartridges flat on a table and you will see the diagram that explains how to insert the colour ribbon (on the yellow side) and the clear film (on the green side).

3. Insert the yellow spool of the colour ribbon onto the yellow spool on the yellow cartridge. Weave the colour ribbon around the metal rods as shown on the diagram and insert the black spool of the colour ribbon onto the black spoon on the yellow cartridge.

4.  Insert the green spool of the clear film onto the green spool on the green cartridge. Weave the clear film around the metal rods as shown on the diagram and insert the black spool of the clear film onto the black spoon on the green cartridge. 

Transport mode:

Your printer may arrive in what we call transport mode. This means that the heated roller will switch to a more secure position to protect it from damage during transit, this position however blocks the green cartridge from being able to be inserted properly.
