A required field is a field in your dataset that cannot be left blank when you are creating a record. If you do not fill out this field when you are creating a record, EasyBadge Cloud will not allow you to save the record in your dataset.

To edit a required field you will need to go to Settings. Then select Data Configuration. Next, select the dataset you want to edit. 

From there you will see some green circles on your dataset field as shown below. If these are green it means it is a required field that you will have to fill out when creating a record. If it is not green it means that you do NOT have to fill this field out when creating a record. 

If you want to make something a required field click on the ! icon so that it is highlighted green. If you do NOT want something to be a required field click on the ! icon so that it is grey.

Select the orange Save Changes button to apply your changes to the dataset.
