Updating the Thermal Imaging Hardware

This topic details how to update the IR camera on the Temp kiosk if you are having issues with temperature readings of staff.

Before doing this update make sure the main MIPS GATE apk is the latest. This file can also be copied to the USB drive

1. Download the attached files and copy to te root of a USB drive.

2. Connectthe USB drive to the yellow USB connector to the USB port on the pedestal.

3. When the device is on right click twice and enter the password to exit the MIPS app.

4. On the Andriod desktop click the small up arrow at bottom of screen to access apps.

5. Click "File Explorer" app and select USB 

6. Double click pcirUpgrade.apk to run the updater. The updated will only take a few seconds.

7. Cycle the temp kiosk power.
