If you are getting the below error, followed by EasyBadge shutting itself down,
The first step as you would expect is just to check the user is not sharing their licence, and to make sure the user is on the latest version of EasyBadge.
If they are, and they still get the issue, then there is a special EasyBadge executable that will prevent EasyBadge from shutting down when this error pops up.
This has only been tested once as of 27/10/2023 but so far this executable has resolved this issue and allowed the user to resume working as expected.
It can be found in the SharePoint, using the below file path:
BarcodesInc\Digital ID - Technical Support\Quick Support\EasyBadge\Test Version
Get the user to download and extract the contents of the folder and paste them into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyBadge
The user will need to be an admin to do this.
executable Also make sure the user is clicking on the new xecutable extracted from the folder and not the one saved onto their desktop.
