If a customer has bought a Badgy 200 it comes with Badge Studio+. When Badge Studio is downloaded and the Badgy 200 is connected to the PC, Badge Studio should automatically detect it and update the license to +.
If this hasn't happened, there may be an issue with connectivity, the version of Badge Studio, the license or the OS.
Questions to ask:
Is the customer using Windows? If so, what version?
If Windows is being used, what is the status in Badgy Print Center?
What is the version of Badge Studio installed? Make sure it is the latest (2.0.1 at present - 16/02/2022).
When the customer goes into File > Badge Studio License Menu, what is there?
It will more than likely be an issue with the Badgy 200 showing up in the Badgy Print Center with 'Status Disabled' which means that the printer can only received orders but does not send responses.
